But this is all boring nonsense compared to the main highlight: lagoons with exotic inhabitants - lizards and herons. In addition to these, curious squirrels scurry around everywhere. Animals are accustomed to people, live their own lives, freely moving around the hotel. They are not tame, but this does not prevent, for example, herons from stealing sweets from the tables during breakfast, while visitors are busy choosing dishes! :)

This hotel will also appeal to lovers of nature and wildlife. Unlike Ayodya, the proximity to nature here is not man-made, the hotel territory is literally in a wild rain forest, without statues, flower beds and fountains, but with spectacled monkeys, rare birds, flying squirrels, lizards and many other animals that are safe in terms of neighborhood. True, if you have a psychological fear of insects or snakes (there is a non-poisonous paradise snake in the forest), then this option is not for you. The hotel has its own beach and a mangrove backwater with walking paths, where, just like in the forest, interesting inhabitants live.

Malaysia Marina Bay Sands Hotel 5*, Singapore
Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
We first saw this crazy building during a short stopover in Singapore in 2011. Then we did not know anything about him, we just saw during a walk: "Look, a house with a ship on the roof!" Now many have seen photos and videos of this building, then it was a novelty (built in 2010). The ship-shaped roof has a swimming pool and observation deck. The pool is accessible only to hotel guests, the site is open to everyone.
Marina Bay Sands Rooftop Pool, Singapore
When we went to Singapore for a week after a few years, we decided that we should visit this rooftop and take a dip in the pool on the 57th floor overlooking the entire city. We had two standard rooms booked for us and relatives. Upon check-in, there was some mistake with the rooms, so we were given a spacious prestigious suite with two bedrooms and a gorgeous view of Gardens by the Bay instead of two regular rooms. And we were not upset at all, I must say!

Not only guests can get to the observation deck, but also anyone who wishes for money. However, hotel guests have a bonus in the form of access to the site outside of business hours, when there are no visitors. For example, we visited the site in the morning in complete isolation. “Big Mango” is a city that is constantly in motion like a giant concrete anthill from such a height.
